Rajinikanth and Akshay Kumar’s most awaited film ‘2.0’, has crossed a big milestone even before is release. The film has entered 100 crore club and with this it became the first Tamil film to do so.
The film witnessed record breaking advance booking and made Rs 120 crore till now. It is said to be the most expensive indian film. The film is even expected to challenge ‘Baabubali 2: The Conclusion’ box office record.
‘Thugs Of Hindostan’ was also expected to do the same but everyone know how it went.
Trade analyst Ramesh Bala tweeted about the record breaking advance booking of the film, “#2Point0 TN Pre-release Theaterical total advance is valued the highest in Tamil Cinema.. Nearly ₹ 120 Crs.. A First in Tamil Cinema to cross ₹ 100 Crs..”
With this kind of response from fans, it will be interesting to see the opening day, weekdays and weekends and lifetime earning of the film. But one thing is sure that the film will definite create some records and set some new goals.
It is also reported that 2.0 will be the biggest Indian release ever outside the country, in terms of screens.
