On the work front, Athiya is currently gearing up for the release of her upcoming comedy drama film ‘Motichoor Chaknachoor.’

Directed by Debamitra Biswal and co-starring Nawazuddin Siddiqui, the film follows a 36 year old bachelor who is desperately trying to find a wife.

She had made her acting debut in 2015 along with Sooraj Pancholi with the romantic action film ‘Hero’, which was a remake of the 1983 film of the same name.
