After giving extraordinary performances in films like ‘Andhadhun’ and ‘Badhaai Ho’, Ayushmann Khurrana is all set to woo his fans in a cop avatar. The actor will star in Anubhav Sinha’s next crime drama ‘Article 15’. According to the reports from TOI, Anubhav Sinha stated that his film, ‘Article 15’ is an intense drama where everyone is at fault. He also added that the role essayed by Ayushmann Khurrana is pretty challenging. However, the director has complete faith in Ayushmann that he will do justice to the character with his level of talent.
Reportedly, Ayushmann who is playing cop for the first time expressed that he has always been interested in social and political issues and loves films being made on it. He appreciated Anubhav’s work a lot and is looking forward to the association with him.
The film went on floors on March 1, 2019, in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh and the film is based on true-life events that have taken place in our country in the past six months. ‘Article 15’ will be a content-driven film and power-packed with good performances.
The upcoming film is directed by Anubhav Sinha who has earlier helmed films like ‘Ra.one’, ‘Mulk’, and ‘Dus’. Ayushamann Khurrana upcoming films include Ekta Kapoor’s ‘Dream Girl’ and Dinesh Vijan’s ‘Bala’.
