2019 has proved to be a golden year of Ayushmann Khurrana. Starting out with the Anubhav Sinha’s ‘Article 15’, which proved to be a major success, both critically and commercially. He then received the Filmfare Critics Award for Best Actor for ‘Andhadhun’. Now his latest release, the comedy drama ‘Dream Girl’ has entered the 100 crore club, has proved to be the biggest opening of his career. The film minted 10 crore on its opening day followed by 25.45 and 3.75 crore in its second and third week of the theatrical run. On Tuesday, the Raaj Shandilyaa directed flick, entered the 100 crore club.

Ayushmann posted a video on his Instagram profile to celebrate the film’s success. He wrote: “#Dreamgirl scores a century! ????????????????
Thank you for this love.”

‘Dream Girl’ is the third film in his career to enter the 100 crore club, the first two were ‘Andhadhun’ and ‘Badhai Ho’.

Ayushmann’s upcoming films:

Ayushmann will next star in satirical black comedy ‘Bala’, which is directed by Amar Kaushik.

He is also part of ‘Shubh Mangal Zyada Savdhaan’, a sequel to the 2017 comedy film ‘Shubh Mangal Savdhaan’.

He is currently filming for Shoojit Sircar’s family comedy-drama ‘Gulabo Sitabo, where he will be sharing the screen space with Amitabh Bachchan.
