Ayushmann Khurrana and Tahira Kashyap are one of the most adorable couples in Bollywood currently. Both have known each other for 12 years now and are married for over 8 years. Their love story is one of the those fairy tale coming true type.
Ayushmann’s love for his wife can be acknowledged with this statement of his, ““When I got married, I had no money. Tahira has been doing better than me professionally for the longest time. She was gutsy enough to marry a man just for love and have faith in his talent. She is a rockstar; she was a professor, had her own PR firm in Chandigarh. She supported me in every possible way. I was a struggling actor, which is often a gamble. But there was never any ego between us. When there’s love, there’s no scope for ego.”
Recently however, there hit a blow to their family as they got to know that Tahira has been suffering with cancer. Ayushmann had said about this, “It was very difficult. Very difficult and thanks to her that she was brave enough to take that positively, otherwise we would have broken, completely. I was in middle of two films, I was promoting these two films – Andhadhun and Badhaai Ho. And we got to know about it on my birthday. In fact, we saw Manmarziyaan on September 14 and we got to know about this disease that day.”
Now however, both of them are handling it very well and Ayushmann has proved to be this strong support system for his wife. He doesn’t shy away from expressing his love for her even publicly.
