After doing a phenomenal business at the domestic box office, Ayushmann Khurrana’s Dream Girl is all set to have a release in Hong Kong. The film will be distributed by Zee Studios International and will hit the screens of Hong Kong cinema halls on 5 December, 2019.

Interestingly, it was recently reported that Ayushmann’s another super hit film Andhadhun is also on its journey to Japan after doing an overwhelming business in India and China. The film that also stars Tabu and Radhika Apte is releasing on 15 November in Japan.

The announcement was made on the Twitter page of Zee Studios International along with a poster of the film for the local audience. The post read, “The biggest entertainer of this season , #DreamGirl sets out on its journey to Hong Kong. The film is slated to release on 5th December’19. Distributed by Zee Studios International”

Released in September this year, Dream Girl was a major success in India and reportedly entered the coveted Rs 200 crore club while the budget of the film was estimated to be only Rs 35 crore.

The film tells the story of Karamveer Singh played by Ayushmann Khurrana who plays female roles in mythological plays because of his talent of impersonating female voice. He gets a job at a call center where he has to impersonate female voice talking to strangers about their fantasies. Nushrat Bharucha, Annu Kapoor, Manjot Singh, and Vijay Raaz also appear in supporting roles.

Directed by Raaj Shaandilyaa, the film was co-produced by Ekta Kapoor and Shobha Kapoor under their banner Balaji Motion Pictures.
