Nawazuddin Siddiqui‘s upcoming movie ‘Babumoshai Bandookbaaz”, which is directed by Kushan Nandy and produced by Ashmit Kunder. The film features Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Bengali actress Bidita Bag in the lead roles.
Today, Bollywood Analyst Taran Adarsh released the new poster for the upcoming movie titled “Babumoshai Bandookbaaz” along with a caption saying, “New poster of #BabumoshaiBandookbaaz… Stars Nawazuddin Siddiqui… Kushan Nandy directs… 25 Aug 2017 release.”

In the movie, Nawazuddin Siddiqui will be seen playing the role of a sharpshooter and for his role, he has taken a special lesson in handling guns and action. While Bidita will be seen playing the role of sensuous cobbler in the film. Talking about her character Bidita says, “Phulwa, my character in the film is very unusual. The first few takes were looking innocent, cute and lovey-dovey. The boldness, the rawness, her (character’s) overpowering personality, and her passion was not coming across. So, I insisted on retakes to bring about that rawness of the character. Also, I was cast opposite Nawazuddin, a perfectionist. While kissing for the camera, two people shouldn’t just pretend that they are kissing each other. A kiss should be true to the characters they are playing, and the passion they share.”
Moreover, she said, “I was [quite] uncomfortable before reading the script or signing the film. After the shoot began, I was not uncomfortable. Maybe because I had full faith in the script and director. Even Nawazuddin is someone, who will not take risks in his career and won’t spoil his image by just doing steamy hot scenes. He knows what he is doing.”
The movie is set to release on 25 August 2017.
