Basant Bhatt is very well known for essaying the character of Suryaputra Karn in the show titled “Suryaputra Karna”, which was directed by Kamal Monga and written by Mihir Buta. Now, he has successfully bagged another big mythological show “Vighnaharta Ganesha” for the role of Lord Kartikeya.
Sony Entertainment Television will soon be coming back with a new show titled “Vighnaharta Ganesha”, which will be based on the most loved god, Ganesha. Basant knew that he wanted to enter into the television industry. He has given auditions for multiple roles and even enjoyed small stints in theatre.
About his new show, Basant says, “Yes, I will be playing the role of Kartikeya in Vighnahartha Ganesha. It is a very different and exciting role to portray. I connect a lot with Lord Kartikeya’s ideals and values viz. being self-dependent, dedicated to duty and I have always ensured to follow the same in my life. The intricate combination of a warrior and dutiful son appealed to me to take up this great opportunity.”
