Karan Johar recently made a film announcement on social media. The producer-director shared posters of the upcoming film Bedhadak introducing the new talents in Bollywood. Taking to Twitter, KJo introduces the debutants and writes, “We’re bringing to you a new era of love – one that’s filled with passion, intensity & boundaries that will be crossed…#Bedhadak!❤️ Starring, our latest addition to the Dharma Family – #Lakshya, @shanayakapoor & @gurfatehpirzada! Karan Johar also shared individual posters of the three debutant actors featuring Bedhadak. Directed by Dhadak famed Shashank Khaitan, the film is reportedly a rom-com love triangle.
Bedhadak: KJO Introduces Shanaya, Lakshya and Gurfateh
Producer Karan Johar launches three debutants for his upcoming film Bedhadak. Taking to his Instagram, KJo shares posters of the new talents, introducing each of them.
1. Shanaya Kapoor
Shanaya Kapoor is the daughter of veteran actor Sanjay Kapoor and Maheep Kapoor. Launching Shanaya Kapoor, KJO writes, “Introducing the gorgeous @shanayakapoor as Nimrit in #Bedhadak. An enchanting force to look out for, I can’t wait to see the energy she brings onto the screen!”
She was the assistant director for his cousin Janhvi Kapoor’s film Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl. Now, Shanaya Kapoor is prepared to make her Bollywood debut with Dharma’s Bedhadak.
2. Lakshya Lalwani
Lakshya, who was supposed to make his debut with Dostana 2, features Karan in the upcoming movie Bedhadak. Introducing Lakshay Lalwani, Johar writes, “Looks that will melt your heart just as easily as his smile will. Presenting #Lakshya as Karan in #Bedhadak. Directed by the maestro of emotions, Shashank Khaitan!”
Lakshya started his career with MTV India’s Warrior High in 2015. The actor has immense popularity among youngsters. Finally, he marks his Bollywood debut with KJo’s Bedhadak.
3. Gurfateh Pirzada
Gurfateh features Angad in Karan Johar’s upcoming film, Bedhadak. Introducing the actor, Johar writes, “His brooding good looks will have you smitten in no time! Watch Angad’s character come alive in #Bedhadak with @gurfatehpirzada bringing his effortless suave onto the big screen!”
Gurfateh Pirzada made his digital debut in Netflix’s Guilty. Directed by Ruchi Narain, the film also featured Kiara Advani and Akansha Ranjan Kapoor in lead roles.
