For all of you who have and who haven’t listened to Khaali Peeli’s song ‘Beyonce Sharma Jayegi’, we have some news for you. No more does the song includes the name “Beyonce”, instead it is now titled ” Beyonse Sharma Jayegi”. The song which released last Sunday (Sept 6), received a lot of flak over its lyrics, with many deeming it as racist.
The makers however have not changed the lyrics due to its controversial nature but, because singer Beyonce holds a trademark over her name. It prevents anyone from using her name for commercial purposes. Thus, the makers did this to avoid any legal problems.
Since its release, the song has received about 1 million dislikes on Youtube. Many people took to Twitter to express their displeasure with the song. Even after the makers changed the name of Beyonce to Beyonse, users reacted hilariously on the same, on Twitter.

Composers, Vishal and Shekhar have composed the song, with Nakash Aziz and Neeti Mohan as the singers. The film stars Ishaan Khatter, Ananya Panday, Satish Kaushik, and Jaideep Ahlawat. Maqbool Khan has directed the film, which will come out on Zee’s Zee Plex on October 2.
