Ali Abbas Zaffar’s Bharat featuring the leading sensations of Bollywood, Salman Khan and Katrina kaif is hitting the benchmark of 200 cr club. It has received wide acceptance and overwhelming response. Over the past weekend it has witnessed relatively high jump in its collection. While the second week is marked by relative drop in comparison to its initial days, as per the figure of 9th day (second Thursday), Bharat is able to gather 6.50cr, estimating its total collection to around 181cr.
Movie had a bang on its opening with collection of 42.3cr. However, the collection kept on decreasing each following day. The first week marked collection in 2 figure number ranging from 20 -30 crore while 2nd week has been witnessing the collection in one figure between 5 -7cr which is relatively low in comparison to first one.
Bharat stands as the second biggest hit of 2019 after Aditya Dhar’s war drama Uri: The Surgical Strike and the biggest opener of Salman khan’s career. It had registered the third highest opening of all time in Hindi Cinema.
Though bharat is running terrifically on box office and it has received mixed reactions, now all the eyes are on second weekend to see where the graph of collection will unfold .
