After registering a good opening of ₹14 crores on Friday, Kartik Aryan’s blockbuster horror comedy Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 showed immense growth over the weekend. The film minted ₹18.34 crores on day 2 followed by ₹23.50 crores on day 3, and finally, the film geared up to ₹56 crores on its first Sunday.

Helmed by Aneez Bazmee, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 is a sequel to Akshay Kumar and Vidya Balan’s horror-comedy Bhool Bhulaiyaa. The film features Kiara Advani and Kartik Aryan in the lead roles. Also, Tabu, Rajpal Yadav and Sanjay Mishra are seen in pivotal roles.
The plot of the film revolves around Kiara’s character Reet and Kartik’s role as Ruhaan fighting their battle with an incident from the past.
