Bhumi Pednekar’s next film which Khiladi, Akshay Kumar is producing has a new name now. The film which is coming out on December 11 on Amazon Prime Video, is now titled as Durgamati. Earlier the film was titled as Durgavati.
The superstar shared the film’s new changed title by unveiling a new poster of the film. He shared it on Twitter, captioning it as “Are you ready? Meet #DurgamatiOnPrime on Dec 11”.

G Ashok has helmed the film, which is a remake of the 2018 Telugu film, Bhaagamathie (2018). The Telugu film starred Telugu superstar, Anushka Shetty in the lead and G Ashok had directed the original film too. The Hindi remake also stars actors Arshad Warsi, Mahie Gill, Jisshu Sengupta and Karan Kapadia.
In the film, Bhumi is portraying an IAS officer embroiled in a major controversy and who gets imprisoned in a haunted house while she is getting interrogated for a corruption case.
We last saw Bhumi Pednekar in the Netflix release, Dolly Kitty Aur Woh Chamakte Sitare.
