The Indian actress Bidita Bag says that film industry knows the importance of an actor, not just stars. Bidita is mostly known for her inclination towards social-political films. Bidita has a varied portfolio when it comes to print advertisements, TV commercials and film.
Bidits Bag’s released recently movie “Babumoshai Bandookbaaz”, which is an action thriller. The movie is directed by Kushan Nandy and produced by Kiran Shyam Shroff and Ashmith Kunder. The movie features Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Bidita Bag in the lead roles.
Recently actress Bidita says that the film industry knows the importance of actors. Bidita says, “This industry is very fair. People in the industry are known because of their talent and their hard work. If an actor does not showcase his worth in films, then he or she will no more be a part of this industry. If you see superstars, they are also here because of the work they do. The film industry knows the importance of actors and not just stars.”
Now, Bidita is gearing up for her upcoming movie title “Rabbi”, which is said to be a love story of the rise and fall of a young musician. A fresh face of Furqan Merchant will be seen essaying the role of a musician. Earlier in “Babumoshai Bandookbaaz” Bidita was seen in her bold avatar now she will be seen in the totally different avatar.
About her new look, Bidita said,”You will see me in a completely different avatar than what you have seen in ‘Babumoshai…’. I play a character of a girl from Kashmir. She belongs to a conservative family, but she has very liberal thoughts even though she might look very traditional in her outer appearance.”
When asked from the actress that the project was shot before her recent movie “Babumoshai Bandookbaaz”. On this, she said, “I did ‘Rabbi’ before ‘Babumoshai…’. There are a number of social films that I have worked in before and after ‘Babumoshai…’. Now that one film has turned out to be a hit, I hope to work in more films as soon as possible.”
Her upcoming movie “Rabbi” features Raghubir Yadav, Dolly Ahluwalia, Brijendra Kala and Virendra Saxena. The movie was directed and produced by Rahat Kazmi and the movie is scheduled to release it on September 15.
