On Friday, the couple announced their split to the world formally, so that rumors could be put to a rest and truth could prevail.

However, what is surprising or rather strange, is that last week on 7 February, Jennifer Aniston actually gave her fans a glimpse into their house in a spread published in the Architectural Digest. She even admitted that Justin had actively participated in the designing of the house.

“Justin definitely wanted to be involved, so there was a bit of a learning curve for me on how to include another voice in the design process,” the actress said to AD.

What is even more surprising is that, the couple claims to have ended their relationship towards the close of 2017, and proclaim themselves as close friends since.

“We are two best friends who have decided to part ways as a couple, but look forward to continuing our cherished friendship. Normally we would do this privately, but given that the gossip industry cannot resist an opportunity to speculate and invent, we wanted to convey the truth directly,” the statement that the couple released said.

Going back to the article, “Sundays at the Aniston-Theroux home”, according to the AD piece, were “reserved for cooking and frolicking by the pool with friends, children, and dogs.”

The actress seeming extremely content with her choices in life currently added, “There was a time when I thought there was something romantic about picking up and trotting off somewhere different every three months. Now I’m becoming more particular about the projects I take,” she said.

“I look around at my husband and my dogs and our home, and there’s nowhere else I want to be.” she added.

We hope the two are able to reconcile their marriage, in their period of friendship.
