On Wednesday, the versatile Bollywood actor Irfan Khan passed away. He was 54 years old.
The actor was taken to the hospital for the treatment for colon infection on Tuesday. He was admitted to Mumbai’s Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital.
In the year 2018, the actor revealed that he has been diagnosed with neuroendocrine tumour, a rare form of cancer that can target various parts of the body.
As per the statement stated by his family Mr Khan relived the moments and spent the final hours of his life with his loved ones and family for whom he was most caring. Just few hours ago the actor’s spokesperson stated that Mr Khan is still fighting the battle of life.
After being treated in London for some months, the actor had returned back to Mumbai. Irrfan Khan has wife Sutapa and two sons.
On Sunday, morning the actor’s mother Saeeda Begum passed away at the age of 95 in Jaipur. Because of the current lockdown, the actor could not travel to Jaipur and paid his last respect to his late mother with the help of video call.
Irrfan Khan was last seen in the movie named “Angrezi Medium” which was released before the lockdown. The actor was not seen anywhere during the promotions of the film because of his health issue. He spoke to all his fans with the social media handle.
