One of the great singers of Bollywood Muhammed Aziz (Munna Aziz) sahab passed away on Tuesday. ‘My name is lakhan’ singer died due to cardiac arrest at the age of 64.
Johnny Lever’s brother Jimmy Moses shared the news on his facebook handle. He reportedly said that Aziz was returning to Mumbai, from Kolkata, after a show. He took a cab, after landing in Mumbai at 4:30 pm. He started feeling uneasy soon and when taken to Nanavati Hospital, doctor declared him dead.
Mohammad Aziz gave several memorable songs, like, ‘My name is Lakhan’, ‘Teri Bewafai Ka Shikwa’ and ‘Tu kal chala Jayega to main kya karunga’.
Several Bollywood celebs including, Shaan, Sudesh lehri and Lata Mangeshkar, and his fans took to twitter to express their condolences and grief.
