The need to stay safe is becoming more urgent each passing day. As the number of coronavirus patients rises, precaution becomes more imperative. The virus is no joke, it has now caught Indian Cinema’s icon, Dilip Kumar’s two brothers. They are Ehsaan and Aslam Khan. Ehsaan aged 90 and Aslam aged 88, are in hospital.
On Saturday, they complained of breathlessness. Both of them were taken to Lilavati Hospital, where Dr. Jail Parkar is treating them.
Doctor Jalil talked to PTI about them and said :
“They were brought to the hospital late Saturday night. They have tested positive for COVID-19. Their oxygen levels are low and both of them are on non-invasive ventilator support.”
While they are under Dr. Jalil’s treatment and care, the veteran actor himself is under quarantine. In March, he had shared on Twitter, how he and his wife, Saira Banu are going in deep isolation to ward off any risk of contracting the virus.
Further, he had said, “Saira has left nothing to chance, ensuring I do not catch any infection.”
We wish that his brothers stay safe and recover soon from the deadly virus.
Kumar is known for his films such as Devdas, Naya Daur, Daag, and Mughal-E- Azam among others. He is a legend of Indian cinema, with several calling him India’s finest actor.
