The National award-winning Choreographer duo, Bosco Martis and Caesar Gonsalves will reunite after three years to work on a song Sajid Nadiadwala‘s ‘Chhichhore’.
Earlier, it was reported, that the choreographer duo of Bosco and Caesar, after doing 200 songs in around 75 movies, had decided to go there separate ways, but continued there four-decade-old friendship. According to the reports, the duo has reunited for Nitesh Tiwari‘s directorial ‘Chhichhore’. The film features Sushant Singh Rajput and Shraddha Kapoor in lead roles, it went on floors in last September and is set in an engineering college.
Caesar confirmed the news, saying, ”“Yes, it’s true, I’m back with Bosco to choreograph a song after three years. Before we split, we used to do all the songs together, barring a few when there were date clashes. I don’t remember our last song together, but ‘Dil Dhadakne’ Do (2015) was among our last projects.”
The duo bagged their first National award for Zoya Akhtar‘s ‘Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara’ famous soundtrack ”Senorita”.
“Bosco and I did two songs separately for her recent release as well and now we will be working on one song after a long time. Sajid (Nadiadwala) sir and Nitesh (director Nitesh Tiwari) sir wanted us to get together for ‘Chhichhore’. I have already choreographed another song for them alone where the characters are being introduced,” Caesar reveals, adding that they have just started working on the creatives and so he can’t reveal any details. “We shoot it in April in true Bosco-Caesar style”, Caesar revealed.
Bosco-Caesar started working as backup dancers for Farah Khan, later they turned independent in 1994 with a stage show for the singers, Shaan and Sagarika. They made their Bollywood debut as choreographer duo in Vidhu Vinod Chopra’s 2000 film ‘Mission Kashmir’.
When asked on the duo’s future collaborations, Caesar replied, “I hope so, our break-up was not over a fight or because we hate each other. Yes, we have had a few creative differences, but I always said Bosco is my better half as a choreographer. We have been best friends since childhood, he is like a younger brother. I love him and will always stand by him,”
