After seeing a not-so-impressive first week collection, Saand Ki Aankh and Made In China entered the second week yesterday. While the former saw a good numbers on its second Friday, the latter crashed at the box office.

According to a report on Box Office India, Saand Ki Aankh collected Rs 1.15 crore on its eighth day. This number is more than double of its first day collection which was only Rs 45 lakh but that is because of its pre-Diwali release. The report said despite the eighth day being much higher than the first day it will probably be a lower second week than the first. The film needs a higher second week to get a decent final result.

With the first week’s collection of Rs 11.90 crore plus second Friday’s collection of Rs 1.15 crore, the total collection of the film as of now (eight days) stands at Rs 13.05 crore.

On the other hand, Rajkummar Rao starrer Made In China has crashed at the box office on its second Friday. According to a report on Box Office India, the film managed to collect only Rs 15 lakh on its eighth day while it collected Rs 90 lakh a day before. The figure is almost one-seventh of its first Friday’s collection which was Rs one crore. The report said the film is expected to finish with lifetime business of under Rs 12 crore.

With the first week’s collection of Rs 10.25 crore plus day eight collection of Rs 15 lakh, the total collection of the film as of now (eight days) stands at Rs 10.40 crore.
