Brie Larson‘s ‘Captain Marvel’ has made a grand opening at the Indian Box Office. On its opening day, the female-led superhero film from Marvel studios collected ₹15.18 crores. According to boxofficeindia.com, ‘Captain Marvel‘ has a second highest ever opening for a Hollywood film in India.

The film was opened to in 1900 screens across 1450 locations in India. it was dubbed in Hindi, Telugu, and Tamil and the movies box office collection is based on mouth publicity over the weekend.

Trade analyst and film critic, Taran Adarsh took to his Twitter to reveal the film’s first-day collection at the box office, and he wrote, “#Hollywood scores yet again… #CaptainMarvel takes a Marvel-ous start at the BO… Packs a superb total [double digits] on Day 1… Overpowers *all* titles – new as well as holdover – by a margin… Fri ₹ 12.75 cr… Gross BOC: ₹ 15.18 cr… India biz.”

‘Captain Marvel’ is a superhero film based on Marvel Comics character Carol Danvers. The movie is written and directed by Anna Boden and Ryan Fleck, with Geneva Robertson-Dworet. The film stars Brie Larson as Carol Danvers, alongside Samuel L. Jackson, Ben Mendelsohn, and Djimon Hounsou. The movie is entertaining, enjoyable and savvy.
