Kuch Kuch Hota Hai marks the directorial debut of Karan Johar. KJo finalized the lead characters of his film back when he was the assistant director on DDLJ.

Aman’s role was initially offered to Saif Ali Khan. However, the actor declined the role, which eventually went to Salman Khan, who portrayed it wholeheartedly. Aman’s character is one of the most memorable characters of all time.

3. Rani Mukerji’s Voice

Due to Rani Mukerji’s husky voice, Karan initially wanted to get her dialogues dubbed by some other actor. However, Farah Khan suggested to use her raw vocals.
