The movie which is presented by T-Series in association with Abundantia Entertainment and is a Bandra West Pictures production.

Director of the movie Raja Krishna Menon says that he has picked some immensely relatable aspects of the relationship between urban parents and their children in his upcoming movie ‘Chef’. The movie will revolve around Roshan Kalra (Saif Ali Khan) and his son Armaan (Svar Kamble).

Like most of the fathers, these days even Saif Ali Khan in the movie will be portraying the role of a father who is very busy pursuing his career and he is trying hard to give time to his wife and his son and this ultimately creates differences between them. However, the aspects of Saif ‘s life is very much similar to the lives of a working parent in real life. They are so busy in making their lives better that they have actually forgotten to pay attention to their children. Their kids are not lacking the material comforts, but they are lacking with their parent’s love. In the movie, Roshan (Saif Ali Khan) is even counselled his friend that just providing a good education and a good lifestyle does not make him a good father.

Director Raja Krishna Menon says that it is getting really harder to understand what it means to be a good parent. The good parent doesn’t mean providing your children with the comfort that you yourself never had. Paying for the best school and doing the best of everything doesn’t make you a good parent. These days most of the parents think that they can substitute their presence by giving gifts to their children. The tough questions are being asked of parents of today. The answer might be in finding a balance. Many such questions like this have what Roshan Kalra will gonna ask from himself in the movie as his journey through his search for true happiness.

The movie ‘Chef’ marks the Indian remake of the hit Hollywood original American comedy-drama with the same name that released in 2014. The original movie was written, produced and directed by Jon Favreau. The movie ‘Chef’ will revolve around the life of a professional chef, who quits his job at a popular Los Angeles restaurant, to launch a food truck with his friend and son.
