Around a week ago the trailer of upcoming film Chhapaak was released. Now, the makers have dropped the first song of the film. Featuring the lead actors Deepika Padukone and Vikrant Massey, the song has a very Gulzar-esque feeling. Thanks to its beautiful lyrics.
As the title suggests, Nok Jhok is a soothing song about the sweet banterings between two people deeply in love. Penned by the prominent poet and director Gulzar, the song goes by the lyrics Pal Pal Chonche marte rehna, Chubhti hai par haste rehna and showcases the adorable chemistry between the lead pair. With simple lyrics and pleasant music, the song comes as a breath of fresh air in the age of remixes. Crooned by Siddharth Mahadevan, the music of the song is given by Shankar Ehsaan Loy.
Meghna Gulzar took to her social media account to share the song and wrote, “They bicker and they banter. And somewhere in between there’s love.”
They bicker and they banter. And somewhere in between there’s love…
