The trailer for upcoming web series, Code M, starring Jennifer Winget has been released.
Code M is a joint ALTBalaji and Zee5 production and concerns an Indian Army lawyer, Monica Mehra, played by Jennifer Winget, who must investigate a case of terrorist encounter. Rajat Kapoor is playing Colonel Suryaveer Chauhan, Commandant of the Army Base who recruits Monica to solve the case. Tanuj Virwani is portraying Angad Sandhu, Monica’s ex boyfriend who is also in the army, and reappears in her life as she tries to untangle the web of lies and misdirections thrown at her from different sources.
The trailer is action filled with explosions and violence as the plot thickens. It looks thrilling, and commands the attention of viewers. Winget skillfully portrays the physical confidence of a person in the army; she is seen confronting goons who insulted the army, and teaching them a lesson in respecting women.
She was very excited about the response for the trailer at the launch, and said, “It’s exciting to see the response that show is already receiving only into the trailer release. It’s what makes the launch even more special. This is my first ever digital debut and I seem to have lucked out with Code M – I couldn’t have asked for better. I believe in experimenting with the characters I play and tend to only take up projects that excite me.”
Code M is scheduled to release on Indian Army Day, January 15 on ALTBalaji and ZEE5 streaming platforms.
