Bharti Singh is an Indian stand-up comedian and actress from Amritsar, Punjab, India. She started her career Great Indian Laughter Challenge Season 4 on STAR One, where she received acclaim for her stand-up comedy child character named “Lalli.” She also appeared as a participant in “Comedy Circus.” In 2011 she appeared in Jubilee Comedy Circus, Comedy Circus Ke Taansen and “Comedy Circus Ka Naya Daur” on Sony Entertainment Television. She currently hosts the show, “Comedy Nights Bachao” along with Krishna Abhishek. Bharti will do a new show coming soon on Life Ok it will be called “Hamari Comedy Ka Dil”. She was even part of the dance reality show, “Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 5”. In 2012 she hosted the television show Sau Saal Cinema Ke which telecasted on 15 December on Star Plus along with Karan Tacker, Ragini Khanna and Shruti Ulfat.
All is not well with comedian Bharti Singh. The celebrated comedian who was recently evicted from the dance reality show, Nach Baliye 8, was rushed to Kokilaben hospital due to severe pain in the stomach. Bharti was apparently complaining of severe pain in the stomach before being admitted to the hospital.
The actress has been diagnosed with gall bladder stones and was in excruciating pain for the last few hours. Now, she is stable but on medication. Bharti was not ready to hospitalized because she wanted to attend the grand finale of “Nach Baliye 8” which she was a part of. Bharti was all set to give a performance at the finale, but now its difficult for the actress. But she will still be attending the event for sure.
