One of this week’s release is the comedy ‘Guest Iin London‘ which is inspired by the 2010 social comedy, ‘Atithi Tum Kab Jaoge?’ that starred Ajay Devgn and Konkona Sen Sharma, with Paresh Rawal and was widely adored by the audiences.
Directed by Ashwni Dhir, ‘Guest Iin London’ is based on the theme of uninvited guests. The film is a comedy revolving around Kartik Aaryan‘s character, who is in a live-in relationship with his girlfriend Kriti Kharbanda in London when Paresh Rawal and his wife Tanvi Azmi barge into his home as guests, their happy lives are presumably disturbed when due to the older couple, setting off a laugh-riot. Paresh Rawal plays the role of Ganga Chacha and Tanvi Azmi plays the role of Guddi Chachi. The movie also stars Sanjay Mishra and is scheduled to release on July 7, clashing with Sridevi’s thriller ‘Mom‘ and ‘Spider-Man: Homecoming’.
Though there were reports that Ajay Devgn might be having a small part to play in the ‘GIL’, there was no official confirmation that he will be there in the movie. But now, director Ashwni Dhir has confirmed this in a special press conference which was held to promote the movie. When he was asked about whether he would miss Ajay Devgn in the sequel. He replied back saying why would he miss Ajay when he is already there in the movie.
There were earlier speculations that Ajay will be shooting only for the climax of the film, that too within a span of three days. Although his character sketch is under wraps, it is reported that the actor has shot in New York for his appearance. Ajay had had to juggle the dates for the shooting of ‘Guest Iin London’ as he was busy with the shooting of ‘Baadshaho‘.
