Actress Sonakshi Sinha is one of those celebrities who is vocal about issues like cyber bullying, fat shaming and women empowerment.

She recently visited a center on Children’s Day and spent some time with kids suffering from thalassemia and shared those pictures on her Instagram profile.

She captioned it: “Had the most amazing time on childrens day with these beautiful souls from @thewishingfactory… thalassemia doesn’t stop them from being so vibrant and positive and i always learn a thing or two about gratitude whenever i meet them! Get your thalassemia test done before you plan to have kids… and show some compassion always!

The event was organised by The Wishing Factory, which is an NGO that works for the children suffering from diseases like Thalassemia and Leukaemia.

On the acting front, Sonakshi will be next seen reprising her role of Rajjo Pandey in the upcoming action film ‘Dabangg 3’.

Directed by Prabhudeva and co-starring Salman Khan, it is the third installment in the successful ‘Dabangg’ franchise; the first one was Sonakshi’s debut film.

Produced by Salman Khan, Arbaaz Khan and Nikhil Dwivedi, the film will hit the silver screens on 20 December this year.

The trailer of the film was released on 23 October and has become popular with over 43 million views on YouTube.

Sonakshi’s last outing was ‘Mission Mangal’, where she played the role of an ISRO scientist. The film met with positive critical feedback and strong box-office results.

She has started shooting for Abhishek Dudhaiya’s war film ‘Bhuj: The Pride of India’, which is based on the 1971 Indo-Pak war.
