She shared the picture of her milestone achievement by posting a picture of her happily holding the award. Many have claimed that the makers of the movie have distortion of the historical facts. However, the Rajput Karni Sena along with the several political parties have strongly opposed the release of the movie because they believe that the director of the movie Sanjay Leela Bhansali has shown the dream sequence of Rani Padmini and Muslim Sultan Alauddin Khilji. Though the makers of the movie have clarified that all such reports are baseless and are untrue.
While the Karni Sena has called for a ‘Bharat Bandh’ on December 1 just to protest the movie’s release. Moreover, the hanging body at the Nahargarh fort added the more horrifying chapter on this ongoing issue. The movie Padmavati which is directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali and jointly produced by Bhansali and Viacom 18 Motion Pictures. The movie features Deepika Padukone in the title role as Rani Padmini, alongside Ranveer Singh as Alauddin Khilji, Shahid Kapoor as MaharajaRawal Ratan Singh, Jim Sarbh, and Aditi Rao Hydari.
