DEEPIKA PADUKONE: HONOURED TO BE A NEW ACADEMY MEMBER!

Deepika Padukone is an Indian film actress. She is one of the highest-paid actresses in the Bollywood world. Deepika has won many awards, including three Filmfare Awards. The actress made her Hollywood debut opposite Vin Diesel’s xXx: Return of Xander Cage. Recently, she has been declared as one of the newest members of the Academy of Motion Picture of Arts & Sciences (AMPAS) and the actress says she feels honoured to be included in the Class of 2017.

The Academy of Motion Picture of Arts & Sciences (AMPAS) last month invited a record 774 new members from 57 countries around the world to join the organisation’s ranks. Apart from Deepika, Priyanka Chopra has also joined the Academy Class of 2017.

Meanwhile, Deepika Padukone will be seen in her next Bollywood movie titles “Padmavati”, which is an upcoming Indian period drama film which is directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, jointly produced by Bhansali and Viacom 18 Motion Pictures. The movie features Deepika Padukone in the role as Rani Padmini, alongside Shahid Kapoor, Ranveer Singh, and Aditi Rao Hydari. Where Shahid can be seen playing the role of Deepika’s onscreen husband and Ranveer Singh will be seen playing a role of Alauddin Khilji.
