Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone says that she feels angry, let down and at the same time she says that it is funny. There are a lot of protests that are rage against the movie ‘Padmavati‘ and actress Deepika Padukone had been the voice of reasons. However, the makers of the upcoming Indian period drama movie refused to bend down in front of the protestors which demands her head for playing the queen Rani Padmini revered by Rajputs.
An actress, Deepika Padukone again said that her upcoming movie ‘Padmavati’ is a film which everyone should be proud of. However, there were many Karni Sena and many other organizations which have painted with the same brush and they have even claimed that they won’t let the movie release on December 1. On this, Deepika Padukone says that nothing can stop the release of the movie which was directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali.
In her recent interview, Deepika has said that she has a full faith in the movie. When asked the actress that what does she feels about the reactions of the detractors demanding her head or they want to cut off her nose? On this, she replies that as a woman, as an artist and as a citizen of this country she is very angry and even she felt let down and she also finds that it is very funny.
When asked the actress that does she is scared? Deepika says that she will never feel scared because she feels that fears are not emotions and she has ever identified. She even goes on to enjoying if the creative freedom that the makers of the movie all with the artists are enjoying themselves and it is one of the world’s biggest democracy which is being curtailed by the pre-release tamasha.
However, she believes that people are allowed to express themselves without even they have seen the movie. She says that she has played the part in the movie and she can assure that this is a kind of movie which everyone will be proud of. She is glad that they are showcasing the Padmavati’s journey because she feels that her story needs to be told to everyone, not only just the people of this country but all across over the world.
Deepika says that she has a full faith in the judicial system of the country. She very well knows that nothing will go wrong. However, she says that as far as the protests are concerned so she feels that there is a fraction out there who is doing what it is. But she says that as she said earlier that she has a full faith in our Judicial system. She says that she is 200 percent with the movie and she even stands well with the director Sanjay Leela Bhansali. She even stands by his vision for the film. Sanjay had a vision and he has done everything to realize it.
She can just appeal and request the audience and everyone else who are concerns to wait and watch the movie. She says that one should not doubt Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s vision he is a magnificent film-maker and he has a tremendous respect for the Indian culture and an enormous respect for the Indian heritage and he will never ever hurt the sentiments or do anything wrong. Deepika says that she is a good man with a good intention.
When asked the actress that after this one can expect both of them together? On this, Deepika replied that you never know there are possibilities that they both will be back together as a team for a movie. However, she says that right now it is important that they should focus on the movie ‘Padmavati’. She would love to collaborate along with the director but before that, both of them need to heal from this experience before they collaborate again.
The movie ‘Padmavati’ has been directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali and jointly produced by Bhansali and Viacom 18 Motion Pictures. The movie features Deepika Padukone in the title role as Rani Padmini, alongside Ranveer Singh as Allauddin Khilji, Shahid Kapoor as Rawal Ratan Singh, Jim Sarbh, and Aditi Rao Hydari.
