Dia has been vocal about various social and environmental issues like the recent cutting of trees in Mumbai’s Aarey forest.
She had said that we cannot afford to lose trees as the government has other options to make a metro shade in some other place.
Dia has also been supportive of the Cauvery calling movement which is a project to revitalize the cauvery river.
On the acting front, Dia was recently seen in the web series ‘Kaafir’, where she played the role of a PoK girl who ends up in Indian border.
She is also the creator of the family sitcom ‘Mind the Malhotras’ which premiered on Amazon Prime in June this year.
Last year, she was seen portraying the role of Manyata Dutt in Rajkumar Hirani’s biographical comedy ‘Sanju’, which was based on the life of actor Sanjay Dutt.
