Dice Media’s new web series, “Fairy Lights’ is out on YouTube. The second episode of Fairy Lights was released on June 26, 2019. The first episode was released on June 13, 2019.
Fairy Lights primarily cover the lives of 3 friends, Rohan, Umang, and Shreekamal. In the previous episode, we saw Umang being upset over her rejection letter and Rohan’s blatantly telling her that she is going to pursue Journalism because of her mom and nothing more.
This episode revolves around Umang’s daily activities, her life in an empty home and how she kills time. While her mom is away, Umang gets lost either in the world of music or in the fictional world created by Sparks.
We also learn that Umang is interested in storytelling more than Journalism but keeps the mask of liking this course in front of Shreekamal. While Rohan seems to ignore her in this episode, ShreeKamal tries to bond with her. Umang is mad at Rohan for dating a girl she doesn’t approve of. She once again finds herself alone.
The episode is so relatable because we all must have witnessed a friend who when ‘finds someone’ gets a little too busy for his friends.
