Diljit Dosanjh is a name synonymous with amazing acting talent as well as soothing voice, with several successful songs in his credit.
On the eve of the 550th birthday of Guru Nanak Dev, Diljit shared a new religious music video titled “Nanak Aadh Jugaadh Jiyo.”
The song is sung by Diljit Dosanjh, written by Harmanjeet and composed by Manpreet with music from Gurmoh.
The video has become very popular since its release and is on the #12 number on India’s YouTube trending list.
Guru Nanak Gurpurab celebrates the birth of the first sikh guru, Guru Nanak and is one of the most sacred occasions of Sikhism.
Diljit has also been acting in films while delivering several hit songs in his long career. He was last seen in the Punjabi romantic comedy ‘Shadaa.’
Directed by Jagdeep Sidhu and co-starring Neeru Bajwa, the film met with critical appreciation and became the second highest grossing Punjabi film of all time at the box-office.
His last Bollywood outing was the comedy flick ‘Arjun Patiala’ where he played the title role of a goofy cop. The film was a critical and commercial dud.
He will be next seen in the Punjabi period drama ‘Jodi’, directed by Ambardeep Singh, which will release on 26 June next year.
Diljit is currently filming for the romantic comedy ‘Good Newwz’ directed by Raj Mehta, which follows the story of a couple who tries in vitro fertilisation.
Co-starring Akshay Kumar, Kareena Kapoor and Kiara Advani, the film will hit the silver screens on 27 December this year.
