Salman Khan’s Eid release is always a big deal. For his upcoming big release, there were several rumors regarding casting for the female lead had surfaced. Some big names like Anushka Sharma, Katrina Kaif, Jacqueline Fernandez were in the discussion but now finally one name is emerging strong, and that is beautiful young actress Disha Patani.
We have earlier seen Salman romancing Disha in the film Bharat. Their pair was loved a lot by their fans but after the film both Salman and Disha had met with some mis-understanding.
The thing is, after the film was complete, Disha had talked something on the lines of age difference with the actor. We should tell you that during the shoot of the film, Salman was 53 years old whereas Disha was 26 years old. Disha had said after the film, “I don’t know if I will ever get to work with Salman sir again.”
She clarified her statement saying, “Obviously because of the age difference between us. In Bharat, it is acceptable because that portion shows Salman sir in his 20s and 30s so, it was an immediate yes. He is a wonderful human being and very hard-working.”
Salman also reacted strongly to this statement of Disha saying that he has worked with actresses much younger than her. In his words, “Why? What age difference is she saying? I’m doing a film with a 17-year-old now”.
Now however, it seems that everything is fine between Salman and Disha and we will hopefully see them create magic on screen.
Talking more about the film, it is scheduled to release on Eid 2020. The film’s title has not been finalized yet but we have heard names like ‘India’s most wanted cop’ and ‘Radhe’. The film will be directed by Prabhu Deva and Salman is going to start shooting for the film from November 4th this year.
