Disney has released the first trailer of its much-anticipated sequel of Academy Award-winning film, ‘Frozen’. The two-minute trailer begins with Elsa trying to find her way off a dark Island. The new part will show Elsa reuniting with her sister Anna and her good friend Kristoff.

We also see a glimpse of other characters like Sven is riding off somewhere while Anna is looking concerned. Interestingly, there is not a single word spoken in the teaser, although makers teased a new soundtrack at the end of the trailer. The first ‘Frozen’ became a worldwide phenomenon because of its chartbusting song ‘Let It Go’. The second part also promises new songs for the kids and adults to sing along.

‘Frozen’ was Disney’s biggest animated hit as it collected $1.2 billion worldwide. Between the six-year gap, Disney released two short films set in the Frozen Universe – Frozen in 2015 and Olaf’s Frozen Adventure in 2017.

Recently, the first part was launched as a live musical in Broadway. The Academy Award-winning team of directors Jennifer Lee and Chris Buck and songwriters Kristen-Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez are returning for the sequel.

The film is slated to release on November 22, 2019, in 2D and 3D.
