The makers of ‘Gully Boy‘ dropped in another rap song, ‘Doori’, just a few weeks away from the film’s release. Ranveer’s brilliant rapping skills are showcased beautifully in the song. Where he took to Twitter to showcase this new track and wrote, “#Doori out now! #Gullyboy.”
The song is sung by Ranveer Singh, which perfectly captures the emotions through his brilliant rapping skills. The song is penned by Javed Akhtar and rapper Divine. ‘Doori’ is about the journey and harsh realities of life. The music has been given by Rishi Rich.
The video of the song shows Ranveer recording in the studio while Alia sits outside the recording room with Ranveer’s friend. The rap song is intense and portrays the struggles of life and the realities that exist between the rich and the poor. The song talks about the everyday differences and discusses serious societal issues.
Recently the ‘Gully Boy’ launched its music album with an event in Mumbai, where Ranveer Singh performed all the songs from the jukebox, along with rappers Divine and Naezy.
The movie is helmed by Zoya Akhtar and co-produced by Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani.
The movie is all set to release on February 14, 2019, and Gully Boy will also be premiered at the Berlin Film Festival on February 7, 2019.
