Actress Drashti Dhami is one of the most recognisable faces in the television industry working today.
She recently shared a picture of herself on her Instagram profile, which has created a stir on the internet.
Dressed in a lovely black outfit, specs and a purse, the ‘Geet’ actress looks like a breathe of fresh air.

On the work front, Drashti was recently seen as a guest on the drama serial ‘Gathbandhan’, playing herself.
She had started her acting career in 2007 with the medical romance drama ‘Dill Mill Gayye’, which was a sequel to ‘Sanjivani.’
Drashti then became a household name for playing the title role of Geet Handa in serial ‘Geet – Hui Sabse Parayi.’
She further gained praise for again playing the title role in ‘Madhubala – EK Ishq Ek Junoon.’ The role earned her the Star Guild Award for Best Actress in a Drama Series as well as Gold Award for Best Actress (Critics).
In 2013, Drashti participated and won the celebrity dance reality show ‘Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 6’, with choreographer Salman Yusuff Khan.
Drashti then tasted success playing Rani Gayatri in ‘Ek Tha Raja Ek Thi Rani’ and has also appeared in ‘Silsila Badalte Rishton Ka’ and ‘Pardes Mein Hai Mera Dil.’
