Bhumi has earlier impressed everyone with her strong performances in Sonchiriya and Bala, in a similar way Durgamati seems to be one of those. The trailer cuts instances from stories spanning different periods which has made it look more exciting. But it remains to be seen how long it stands compared to its original version.

The film is produced by Akshay Kumar’s Cape Of Good Films and Bhushan Kumar. Apart from Bhumi and Arshad, Durgamati also stars Mahie Gill, Karan Kapadia, and Jisshu Sengupta in pivotal roles. The film releases on Amazon Prime Video on December 11.
