She is known for producing television serials under her banner Balaji Telefilms and is credited for changing the course of soap opera’s in India.
Ekta has produced several iconic serials like ‘Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi’, ‘Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii’, ‘Kasautii Zindagii Kay’, ‘Naagin’ and a load of others.
She produces feature films under the Balaji Motion Pictures banner and her last venture, the comedy film ‘Dream Girl’, proved to be a major critical and commercial success.
