Producer Ekta Kapoor has produced several films and especially television serials that has went on to gain a cult following.
She recently shared a video on her Instagram profile, celebrating 18 years of one of her iconic serials, ‘Kasautii Zindagii Kay.’

The video stated several facts about the show like it became the third longest running television series and also recorded one of the highest TRPs.
‘Kasautii Zindagii Kay’ won 153 awards and 172 nominations at various award ceremonies. It starred Shweta Tiwari, Cezanne Khan, Ronit Roy, Urvashi Dholakia and Hiten Tejwani.
The show’s immense popularity can be attributed to the fact that it has recently been rebooted under the same name but with a different cast and story line.
It is the third longest running tv series after ‘Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi’ and ‘Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii’, all of which were produced by Balaji Telefilms.
