Swedish Greek actress Elli Avrram has come a long way in Bollywood since her debut in 2013 with the film ‘Mickey Virus.’
She recently shared a picture with her co-star Manish Paul on her Instagram profile, celebrating six years of her first Bollywood film, writing a heartfelt note.
She wrote: “It’s been 6 years since Mickey Virus❤️???? my first Bollywood Movie. My biggest childhood dream came true. It’s been a long journey with ups & downs but I’m forever grateful for it. I’ve learn so much and I’ve grown. Honestly I remember it like yesterday. I was crying of joy when @saurabhthevarma sir called me to office to give me the Happy News that I’m the chosen one (sorry I know you don’t like to be called sir hihi)!!!!! Thank you for being such wonderful and super fun director!!!! Thank you @manieshpaul for being the most caring co-actor! I still remember how nervous and shy you got to pose with me in front of my parents (who had just come to India) during our look test hahaha????. And much love to the best AD’s @ashishranglani whom I kept calling BALMA because I thought it meant TEDDY???? (they all kept pulling my leg since I didn’t know hindi back then lol)…and @guptaaraghav for always being so sincere????…and @sjunehashmi for helping me out with everything xx. ‘Mickey Virus’ is directed by Saurabh Verma and stars Elli and Manish in the lead role. It was released on 25 October, 2013.
Elli was recently seen portraying the character of Sylvia Nanavati in the drama mystery web series ‘The Verdict – State vs Nanavati’.
The series was based on the infamous case of K.M. Nanavati vs State of Maharashtra, where a man was accused of killing his wife’s lover. It was released on the streaming platforms Zee5 and ALT Balaji.
Elli was also seen guest starring in the Netflix horror series ‘Typewriter’ directed by Sujoy Ghosh.
She will be next seen in Mohit Suri’s romantic thriller ‘Malang’, starring Anil Kapoor, Disha Patani, Kunal Khemu and Aditya Roy Kapur.
