Emraan Hashmi who is famous for his romantic movies is in the line to take up different roles. The romantic actor is, again and again, robbing the headlines.
Recently Emraan has joined his hands with Vijay Ratnakar Gutte’s in his next film, Vayusena. He will be playing the role of Retired Air Commodore Kariyadil Cheriyan Kuruvilla.
The storyline of the movie revolves around Kuruvilla’s adventure, starting here as far as possible up to the Kargil War when he was still in administration.
As per the sources, the producers have effectively approached the Government, looking for consent to shoot at a genuine airbase alongside military aircraft.
The director of the upcoming movie reveals that “Emraan hasn’t played a character like this before, and he loves such roles. It was an instant nod from him. It’s a human interest story that starts with the 1971 Indo-Pak war and ends with the Indo-Pak Kargil War of 1999. We plan to film at a real airbase, and it’d be great if the authorities allow us to use real fighter planes to present the story correctly and realistically. We are hopeful that the permission will come through soon.”
The movie is likely to hit the theaters in November, the shooting will be in a start to end format.
