Emraan Hashmi is an Indian film actor. He made his acting debut in 2003, with Vikram Bhatt’s thriller ‘Footpath’ opposite Aftab Shivdasani and Bipasha Basu, where he portrayed the role of Raghu Shrivastava, a gangster. Later he did many films. Through his successful career, he has received three Filmfare Award nominations and has established himself as one of the most popular and highest-paid actor of Hindi cinema.
Recently, Emraan said that he only believes in working hard and he does not really bother much about the fate of his films at the box office. Many of his recent films do not do well at the Box office like “Raja Natwarlal”, “Hamari Adhuri Kahaani”, “Azhar” and “Raaz Reboot”. Still, he feels that did not affect his career at all as he’s still getting to work with a lot of people.
Now, he is pinning hopes for his upcoming movie “Baadshaho“, Emraan said, “We all have high hopes for this film like I have had with all my films. The only way you can avoid a flop film is that you don’t make a film at all. It is as simple as that.” He added, “I have learned that in this industry you have to keep striving and working hard. The day you stop (working) you start thinking and get insecure. I don’t think there is a place for that.”
Moreover, he added about his upcoming movie that, “I am very excited about ‘Baadshaho’. This is the best time in my career, I am getting to do films which I always wanted to do. Also, for the industry, it’s a grim time as films are not doing well. But this is the best time to introspect and understand that we have to make things work.”
This is for the second time that the trio of Ajay, Emraan, and Milan are coming together. Their last movie, ‘Once Upon A Time In Mumbai’, was a big hit and this one might just follow suit. About this Emraan said, “We (Luthria and Devgn) are coming after seven years so there are expectations and I am happy that Milan has given an unusual twist to a heist film. He is aware of the expectations of the audience especially after Devgn and his last outing ‘Once Upon A Time in Mumbai’.”
‘Baadshaho’ is scheduled for September 1 release.
