Aishwarya didn't interfere in casting: 'Fanney Khan' makers

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan is gearing up for her upcoming movie title ‘Fanney Khan‘ opposite Anil Kapoor. The movie which is directed by Atul Manjrekar and produced by Rakyesh Omprakash Mehra, KriArj Entertainment, and T-Series. According to the reports, the movie will arrive in cinemas in April next year. The duo has earlier worked together in Subhash Ghai’s movie ‘Taal’ and Satish Kaushik’s movie ‘Hamara Dil Aapke Paas Hai’. The music in the film has been given by Amit Trivedi and lyrics has been given by Irshad Kamil.

Recently, the makers of the movie ‘Fanney Khan’ have cleared all the rumours of Aishwarya Rai Bachchan that she is upset over the casting of R. Madhavan opposite her. On this Rakyesh Omprakash Mehra said, “It is quite unfortunate that such false and baseless stories are created to grab attention. There is zero truth to that, we are all a team and ‘Fanney Khan’ is a dear project to the whole team.”Kapoor of KriArj Entertainment added: “There are some stories doing the rounds about disagreement in casting for the film. We want to put the record straight and deny any such so called competition or discord amongst the makers.” He further added that the cast of the movie including and Aishwarya are doing their preparations for their roles and they do not interfere in the process of casting for other roles.

Talking about the movie ‘Fanney Khan’, which is said to be a musical comedy movie, which is an official remake of Dominique Deruddere’s Everybody’s Famous and the movie will be based on the father and daughter story. About the movie, Rakyesh said, “It’s a great story and we are all very excited to showcase it to the world.” Earlier, there were reports that the makers are struggling to find the right hero opposite Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. There was a choice between Madhavan and Rajkummar Rao but later the makers finally choose R. Madhavan for this role. Rakyesh said, “The discussions kept going on till the solution was finally cracked late on Wednesday afternoon – and the answer was Madhavan!” Moreover, he added, “Needless to say, it’s a choice which has not made Aishwarya very happy but she’s also a professional so she will have to grin and bear it.”
