“Sheer Khurma” by Faraz Arif Ansari the film will star Swara Bhasker and Divya Dutta as the main lead and highlights veteran actor Surekha Sikri in a vital role.
The director of the movie took to his Twitter account to share the news, in a post he wrote “I’ve been fortunate enough to have grown up around courageous women. Their fight for a more inclusive world inspired #SheerKhurma. Thankful to Surekha ji, @divyadutta25 @ReallySwara @Kalyanmayee who are bringing to life, the stories of cinema’s most underrepresented women #LGBTQ”

The movie is based on the subject of the LGBTQ community, the homosexual relationship between two women, and film on same-sex love where Sawara and Divya are featured as a couple.
Faraz previous project “Sisak” was the First Indian Silent LGBTQ Love Story, in a short film format. It has won 59 international awards at various film festivals.
Not speaking much about the upcoming movie, the director only reveals the title, subject, and cast of the film.
