‘Farzi’ Trailer: Shahid Kapoor vs Vijay Sethupathi, A cat-mouse chase in the action-packed thriller
The trailer of the much-awaited thriller drama Farzi is out. The Family Man famed director duos Raj & DK again brings a classic thriller web series for the audience. Actors Shahid Kapoor and Vijay Sethupathi have joined hands to be a part of the action-packed thriller. Check out the promo here.
The trailer begins with Shahid Kapoor sleeping on a bed full of money. His motto is to earn an infinite amount of money, so he doesn’t have to respect it. With this agenda, he plans to print farzi (fake) currencies which shook the world. On the other side, Vijay Sethupathi features as the cop whose mission is to catch the mastermind behind the farzi currencies.
While the former creates crispy and freshly minted notes, the latter is behind to catch the culprit. The trailer is brimming with action, dialogues and punches. The cat-mouse chase between the duo leads is engaging and will leave you rooting for more.
The web series is slated to have a digital release on February 10 exclusively on Amazon Prime Video.

Helmed by The Family Man famed Raj Nidimoru and Krishna DK, Farzi is the second collaboration between Prime Video and the duo directors.
In a recent interview Raj & DK said, “After a massively successful association with Prime Video for The Family Man, we are thrilled to return with our next new series! It’s one of our favourite scripts, which we have created with a lot of passion and shot through the ups and downs of the pandemic. Basically, a lot of sweat and tears have gone into making this series. After The Family Man, we challenged ourselves to come up with yet another exciting, unique world. We can’t wait for everyone to watch this series that’ll be out on Prime on February 10.”
The web series also marks Shahid Kapoor and Vijay Sethupathi’s digital debut. Farzi showcases a cat-mouse race between the duo actors where losing is not an option. While the trailer is quite catchy, the collaboration of Shahid and Vijay for the project is the cherry on the cake.
The web series also features Kay Kay Menon, Raashii Khanna and Kubra Sait in key roles. The action drama is scheduled to have an OTT release on February 10, 2023.
