On the career front, Fatima was last seen in Vijay Krishna Acharya’s 2018 epic action film ‘Thugs Of Hindostaan’.
She had shared the screen with Amitabh Bachchan, Aamir Khan and Katrina Kaif in it. The film, however, met with mixed reviews and proved to be a failure at the box-office.
Starting out her career as a child artist in films like ‘Ishq’ and ‘Chachi 420’, Fatima ventured into bigger roles as she grew up.
She appeared in films like ‘Tahaan’, ‘Bittoo Boss’ and ‘Akash Vani’, but her breakthrough role proved to be in Nitesh Tiwari’s biographical sports film ‘Dangal.’
The actress portrayed the role of wrestler Geeta Phogat in the film, that co-starred Aamir Khan and Sanya Malhotra.
