The video is plain and simple, and yet sweet. Also, it will remind you to make a call home if you haven’t because all those who are away from their parents are going to miss them even more.
The friends and the roommates, in this case, compensate for all the advice that we used to get back at home from relatives. Do this and you’ll be okay, do that and you will be good in an hour. And oh! That one friend, who will always call up to tell what we missed while we were sick, and also sometimes give gossip.
The struggle of being unable to eat ice creams and the horror of medicines were and are still real. But the attention that we get after missing a couple of days from work/college/school, feels great.
But nothing could match the way our moms looked after us when we fall sick. The love, the pampering is what we adults miss the most.
