How to release a film, when theatres are shut? This is a problem for many filmmakers nowadays, especially when they don’t want to release their film on an OTT platform. What do they do then? To answer this, Gulshan Devaiah and Sagarika Ghatge’s film, Footfairy has become an example. The film is releasing directly on the TV. It’ll premiere on Movie Channel, & Pictures, on 24 October.
The makers of the TV-first film, released its poster, wherein a masked man is hiding under a bed, to avoid getting seen by a woman. Actor, Sagarika Shared the poster of the film, on her Instagram, which is as follows :

It’ll explore how a person’s absurd fetish can cause problems. On the other hand, describe it as a “cat and mouse chase, between a CBI officer and a serial killer”. They promise the film, to be a never before seen psychological-thriller.
While the film comes out on October 24, earlier in March, the makers had released a song, titled ” Andhera”, from the film. You can check out the song here:
Apart from Gulshan and Sagarika, the film also stars Kunaal Roy Kapur. Kanishk Varma has written and directed the film.
Gulshan Devaiah was last seen in Netflix’s Ghost Stories, while Sagarika Ghatge, who made her debut with Chak De India! last appeared onscreen in Irada (2017).
